Globally, ambient air quality regulations are becoming stricter and the penalties for violating them are severe. The ability to accurately, quickly and efficiently monitor harmful chemicals and combustible gases is crucial in order to comply with these regulations. For over 35 years, Our Extrel™ portfolio has been delivering mass spectrometers for industrial applications with the reliability and performance needed for demanding applications in the toughest environments.
Ambient Air Monitoring for industrial hygiene and emissions monitoring needs high speed analysis of multiple chemical compounds from several locations with detection limits as low as 10 parts per billion (ppb). The FASTValve™ expands the systems capabilities by analyzing up to 80 sample points per valve assembly. The MAX300-AIR™ Environmental Mass Spectrometer Gas Analyzer also can be configured to monitor a larger number of samples, with the use of several different valve combinations. This gives the MAX300-AIR the largest sample capacity available for a process mass spectrometer. The MAX300-AIR can easily and quickly measure fugitive benzene at < 0.6 µg/m3 (0.2 ppb).
The MAX300-AIR measures fugitive benzene at < 0.6 µg/m3 (0.2 ppb). Recent amendments to 40 CFR 60 and 63 have lowered the actionable level to 9.0 µg/m3 (2.8 ppb), at this concentration Extrel mass spectrometers offer a real-time, fully automated solution with better than 99.9% accuracy. Air is pulled continuously from the sample points back to the MAX300-AIR for analysis. There is no need for personnel to manually collect samples, or send anything to an offsite lab, and real-time alerts of benzene transients are crucial for easily and accurately identifying the source.
Need a quick and easy CEMS solution? Check out our Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) used to measure flue gases in a wide variety of regulated industrial facilities.
Emissions from urban environments; industrial or agricultural operations; and power generation are the main focus to prevent hazardous pollutants to pose a health risk for the population. HCl, NH3, NOx, CO, formaldehyde and many others contribute to environmental concerns, such as acid rain, ground ozone and smog, which cause many adverse health effects in humans. With our ultra-sensitive CRDS analyzers, you can monitor many of these hazardous pollutants precisely at low levels to ensure that any excess emissions are detected immediately.
Methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) are the most important drivers of climate change. Researchers use sophisticated computer models to predict the influence of these greenhouse gases on climate change. Such models require precise measurements of atmospheric concentrations, as well as quantification of sinks and sources of these gases. Our Tiger Optics’ analyzers deliver compact, affordable and easy to use solutions for researchers, regulators and industrial customers to monitor CH4 and CO2 with great precision and reliability.
ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE IONIZATION MASS SPECTROMETER (APIMS)
Real-time, multi-species monitoring for critical impurities including O2, H2O, CH4, CO, CO2, NH3 and more
Explore our VeraSpec™ Atmospheric Pressure Ionization Mass Spectrometer (APIMS) is designed for reliable and repeatable low parts-per-trillion detection limits for contamination control in Ultra-High Purity (UHP) gases used in semiconductor and other high-tech industrial applications.
