Our MBW CALIBRATION™ MODEL 473-RP2™ is a probe type Dew Point Chilled Mirror Analyzer and is suitable for test chambers or environments with moving air. It is particularly well suited for use in relative humidity generators where it functions as a calibration transfer standard for dew/frost point, relative humidity and temperature.
The MODEL 473 Dew Point Chilled Mirror Analyzer can be used to calibrate the RH generator (e.g. before and after on-site tests) or act as the reference during the calibration of RH probes. The 473-RP2 includes precise measurement of temperature with a 3 x 40mm platinum resistance thermometer (PRT) that can be mounted directly to the RP2 measuring head. Using a cable supplied as standard, the PRT can also be mounted on to instrument under test (IUT) in RH calibration scenarios. This ensures that the temperature used to calculate RH is correct by minimizing the effects of temperature gradients or self-heating of the IUT.

The RP2 dew point measuring head has a two-stage Peltier element in a compact probe format and includes a connection for temperature measurement. It is supplied with a calibrated head mounted temperature probe and an extension cable to enable optimum placement in working volumes. RP2 is suitable for direct insertion into applications with moving air such as relative humidity generators, climatic chambers, manufacturing processes and air ducts.
