Our HYGROCONTROL™ Type 81/82 Relative Humidity Hygrometers measure the amount of moisture or humidity in the air, or any confined spaces. They can measure absolute, relative, or dew point temperature.  High-precision relative humidity Type 81, 82 for industrial use can be calculated, displayed and issued to measure dew point [°C, °F], absolute humidity [g/scm], specific humidity [g/kg] and enthalpy [kJ/kg]. The temperature can be displayed as °C or °F.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

The instrument uses a capacitance type sensing element with polymer dielectric medium. The temperature sensor is a Pt-1000 Ohm RTD. Microprocessor control allows for multipoint calibration. A maximum accuracy of 1.5 %RH is achieved with 8 points. Built in special temperature compensation is to correct humidity values from deviations arising from temperature effects on the sensor and the electronics.

To operate the hygrometer, the user simply needs to power on the device and place it in the desired location. The hygrometer will begin to measure the relative humidity and temperature levels and display the readings on its user-friendly interface. Some models may also include additional features, such as data logging capabilities or alarms that alert users when humidity or temperature levels fall outside of a specified range.

The HYGROCONTROL Type 81/82 hygrometers operate using a microprocessor-based system that ensures accurate and reliable readings. The microprocessor continuously processes and analyzes the data from the sensors to provide precise and consistent results.
