QuickCODultra
COD Online Water Analyzer
Continuous COD Analysis for harsh water contamination analysis
For COST-EFFECTIVE Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) measurement
Our LAR™ QuickCODultra™ online COD water analyzer is a high-performance analyzer that measures the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of water samples. To measure the real oxygen demand, the QuickCODultra water analyzer utilizes a UV-activated persulfate digestion method that ensures complete oxidation of all organic compounds in the sample, including difficult-to-oxidize compounds such as humic acids and lignin. The analyzer then measures the amount of oxygen required for this oxidation reaction and calculates the COD value.
By measuring the COD value, the QuickCODultra onlne COD water analyzer can determine the real oxygen demand of the sample, which is a measure of the amount of oxygen required to oxidize the organic matter present in the sample. This information is useful for a wide range of applications, including monitoring wastewater treatment processes, assessing the quality of drinking water, and evaluating the environmental impact of industrial processes.
We are the TOC Leaders™ in high-temperature TOC, COD, BOD, TN, and Toxicity water analysis for maximum reliability, high-performance and fast response.
QuickCODultra online COD water analyzer uses thermal combustion to get results within minutes, even with difficult sample matrices like sewage treatment and industrial wastewater applications. It is best suited for: plant effluent monitoring, wastewater treatment (influent and effluent water), detection of organic spills and product loss (e.g. in chemical, petrochemical and food processing plants). Combustion at 1200°C guarantees the complete oxidation of the sample. Even loads with salt concentration of up to 20% and in the case of NaCl as much as 30%, are easily melted at this temperature. No disposal is needed for analysis residue, cleaning solutions or harmful reagents.

EXACT ANALYSIS: CLEAN, FAST AND ACCURATE
In contrast to the common standard methods, which are time consuming and require dangerous reagents, the QuickCODultra uses the combustion method. It is fast, using the original idea considering the oxygen required for the oxidation of the organic components contained in the water. This method goes without any use of dangerous and etching substances so that a high operational safety is ensured. Another advantage of this method is that the measurement results are taken from the complete digestion and free from chloride interference.
THE REAL COD ANALYSIS
The entire raw wastewater sample including all particles is directly injected into a furnace via the unique injection system. With our ULTRA high temperature method oxygen is used to digest all components. This demand is detected by a special oxygen detector so that the analyzer truly measures the real oxygen demand. Even with applications with changing sample compositions the QuickCODultra reliably determines the COD.
