Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor Analyzer System for Real-Time VHP & HPV Sterilization Monitoring
Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor Analyzer System for Real-Time VHP & HPV Sterilization Monitoring
The ClearView® db Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor Analyzer System delivers continuous, real-time monitoring of Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP®) and Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor (HPV) during sterilization and bio-decontamination processes. Designed for pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, medical devices, hospitals, and life science applications, the analyzer simultaneously measures hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and water vapor (H₂O) to provide complete visibility into every sterilization cycle.
Using advanced near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, the ClearView db enables accurate monitoring without consumables or routine sensor replacement, helping manufacturers optimize cycle development, improve process control, reduce sterilization time, and support regulatory compliance. Contact us today!
Why Monitor Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor?
Hydrogen peroxide vapor has become the preferred sterilization method for pharmaceutical isolators, aseptic filling lines, cleanrooms, pass-through chambers, and medical device manufacturing because it provides rapid, low-temperature sterilization without leaving harmful residues.
Continuous VHP monitoring helps operators:
- Optimize sterilization cycle performance
- Reduce cycle development time
- Verify hydrogen peroxide concentration
- Monitor moisture throughout sterilization
- Improve repeatability
- Reduce batch failures
- Increase equipment availability
- Support GMP documentation
- Improve sterility assurance
- Reduce operating costs
Why Choose the ClearView® db?
Unlike conventional hydrogen peroxide sensors that measure only H₂O₂ concentration, the ClearView db simultaneously measures both hydrogen peroxide vapor and water vapor, providing complete insight into sterilization conditions.
Key Benefits
- Continuous real-time monitoring
- Simultaneous H₂O₂ and H₂O measurement
- Fast analytical response
- Non-contact optical measurement
- No consumable sensors
- No electrochemical cells to replace
- Excellent long-term stability
- Low maintenance operation
- Supports atmospheric and vacuum sterilization processes
- Easy integration with automation systems
Simultaneous Hydrogen Peroxide & Moisture Measurement
Accurate sterilization depends on both hydrogen peroxide concentration and humidity.
The ClearView db continuously measures:
- Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor (H₂O₂)
- Water Vapor (H₂O)
This dual measurement enables operators to:
- Optimize VHP injection
- Improve condensation control
- Shorten aeration cycles
- Improve cycle repeatability
- Reduce hydrogen peroxide consumption
- Improve sterilization effectiveness

Easy Operation and Control
The ClearView db® H2O2 Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilization Monitoring Solution is controlled via its touch screen or remotely via Ethernet (Modbus TCP/IP). All of the analytical calculations are encoded in the software. The complete system consists of a ClearView Analyzer, one or two G-SST probes, and a pair of fiber optic cables for each probe. The analyzer is pre-calibrated at the factory. No programming is required by the user. Start-up requires powering the analyzer, connecting the probe or probes via the fiber optic cables, taking a ZERO reading in the dehumidified isolator and the H2O2 and H2O concentration measurements may begin.
ANALYZER OPTIONAL ENCLOSURES
Typically for medical, pharmaceutical and food industries, the ClearView db® H2O2 Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilization Monitoring Solution may be housed in a stainless-steel enclosure. Other enclosure options are available, such as, painted carbon steel, explosion-proof or purged depending on area classification requirements.
