Founded in 2001 in Warrington, Pennsylvania, TIGER OPTICS™ LLC established itself as a leading provider of proven trace gas analyzers, atmospheric monitoring solutions, and cleanroom monitoring systems.  It was acquired by Process Insights in 2018.

TIGER OPTICS specializes in high-performance, laser-based Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (CRDS) gas analyzers that meet the stringent demands of advanced industrial standards and cutting-edge research laboratories.  They have a long history in industrial gas, medical gas, and chemical processing enabling detection of moisture and other rogue impurities in process gas streams, including inert, reactive, corrosive, bulk and specialty gases.

How CRDS Works

Our CRDS technology is based on absorption spectroscopy, which works by:

• Attuning light rays: Matching the light frequency to the unique molecular fingerprint of the sample species
• Measuring ring-down time: Detecting the time it takes for the light to fade or “ring-down”
• Accurate molecular count: Providing an exact, non-invasive, and rapid means to detect contaminants in the air, gases, and even in breath samples
