Our ANALECT® PCM 5000™ Mid Infrared (MIR) Analyzer is a mid-infrared-based process analyzer utilizing a sample cell that is directly coupled to the analyzer via a light pipe. FT Mid IR analyzers are utilized where it makes sense to bring the sample, via a fast loop, directly to the analyzer. It also makes sense where the advantage of using the fingerprint region of the mid infrared gains an application advantage over the NIR region. In addition, the ANALECT PCM 5000 Mid Infrared (MIR) Analyzer \also offers the ability to perform gas phase applications; the energy throughput of Mid IR enables the technology to see components at the single digit ppm level (and sometimes even at the ppb level) by leveraging a White Cell.
- On-line, in-situ, and at-line monitoring of batch and continuous processes.
- Displays up to 15 properties at once and measures up to 30 properties per stream.
- Optical multiplexing capabilities provide analysis of up to 16 process streams using fiber optic or extractive stream switching.
- Utilizes process proven ANALECT Diamond 20 Transept™ optical head: – Vibration tolerant optical system allows placement of analyzer in hostile industrial environments.
- Absolute optical alignment of components provides for repeatable spectra, allowing calibrations to remain stable indefinitely.
