Moisture in Liquid Hydrocarbon Transmitter

Reliable Moisture in Liquid Hydrocarbon Transmitter

Based on years of dedicated research and development and proprietary scientific breakthroughs, our COSA XENTAUR™ HDT-LQ™ Series Transmitter combines our Dew Point Transmitter HDT™ Series with a Specialized HTF™ aluminum oxide sensor for work in liquid Hydrocarbons.  Our HDT-LQ Series Digital Moisture in Liquid Hydrocarbon Transmitters are designed as compact, simple, and reliable instruments, which will continually monitor dissolved water in hydrocarbon liquids.

he HDT-LQ Series Digital Moisture in Liquid HC Transmitter is a high-precision transmitter designed for liquid hydrocarbon applications. Here are some of the advantages of the HDT-LQ Series:

  • High accuracy: Provides highly accurate measurements of dew point temperature, with an accuracy of up to ±0.1°C.
  • Low moisture detection: Specifically designed for low moisture applications, making it suitable for use in environments where even trace amounts of moisture can be a problem.
  • Fast response time: Provides real-time measurements, with a response time of less than 5 minutes.
  • Stable and reliable: Built to be stable and reliable, with a low-drift sensor and advanced signal processing technology.
  • User-friendly: Designed to be easy to use.
  • Flexible installation: Can be installed in a variety of configurations, including direct insertion, flow-through, and sample conditioning systems.
  • Low maintenance: Requires minimal maintenance and calibration, reducing downtime and costs.

Aluminum oxide sensors are used in the HDT-LQ Series, as they offer several advantages for dew point measurement, including high accuracy, stability, and resistance to contamination.

The HDT-LQ Series Digital Moisture in Liquid HC Transmitter is typically used in industries where the measurement of moisture content in liquid Hydrocarbons is critical for the process or product quality. The industries that use this type of transmitter include:

  • Chemical and Refining: Moisture measurement is critical in the petrochemical industry to ensure that moisture does not contaminate the final product, which can affect product quality and safety.

  • Liquid hydrocarbon streams for the most challenging conditions – hexane, hexene, benzene, mixtures, complex matrices
