Based on years of dedicated research and development and proprietary scientific breakthroughs, our COSA XENTAUR™ HDT-LQ™ Series combines our Dew Point Transmitter HDT™ Series with the HTF™ aluminum oxide sensor. Our HDT-LQ Series dew point transmitters are designed as compact, simple and reliable instruments, which will continually monitor air dryer performance, compressed air quality and dry gas moisture, from ambient dewpoint levels to as low as -100°C.
The XDT Series Dew Point Transmitter electronics take full advantage of state-of-the-art microprocessor technology and offer many advanced intelligent features. With optional dual alarms, analog and digital outputs, the XDT Series dew point transmitters can be used as indicators, alarm units or controllers. The HTF™ aluminum oxide sensor is the product of years of intensive research and has been thoroughly field proven and performs better than other aluminum oxide moisture sensors on the market. HTF aluminum oxide sensors are manufactured with high uniformity.
The HDT-LQ Series is a high-precision dew point transmitter designed for low moisture applications. Here are some of the advantages of the HDT-LQ Series:
Aluminum oxide sensors are used in the HDT-LQ Series, as they offer several advantages for dew point measurement, including high accuracy, stability, and resistance to contamination.
The HDT-LQ Series Dew Point Transmitter is typically used in industries where the measurement of dew point or moisture content in gases is critical for the process or product quality. Some of the industries that use this type of transmitter include:
Natural Gas: Dew point measurement is important in the natural gas industry to prevent hydrate formation, which can cause blockages in pipelines and damage equipment.
Petrochemical: Dew point measurement is critical in the petrochemical industry to ensure that moisture does not contaminate the final product, which can affect product quality and safety.
Semiconductor: In the semiconductor industry, dew point measurement is important to prevent moisture from damaging sensitive electronic components during the manufacturing process.
HVAC: The HVAC industry uses dew point measurement to control the humidity level in buildings, which can affect indoor air quality and occupant comfort.
Pharmaceutical: The pharmaceutical industry uses dew point measurement to control the moisture content in the manufacturing process, which can affect the stability and shelf-life of the final product.
